Stanley Maurasse

Stanley Maurasse, born on November 28, 1965 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Micheline Tassy Aponte and Wilson Maurasse.
Stanley’s family migrated to the United States in July 1978. He attended John Jay High School where he graduated with honors and later attended Kingsborough Community College.
Stanley was a hard worker. He found employment at the neighborhood supermarket where he later acquired a position in management.
He was an avid sports fan. He could spend hours upon hours watching sports on the sports channel.
His favorite sports team was the New York Yankees. He loved them so much that he tattooed his arm and leg with their logo.
Stanley thought he was a sportscaster and his opinion mattered. He was upset with Derek Jeter for retiring so early to pursue his personal life and with Alex Rodriguez for dating his celebrity crush, JLo.
He was also passionate about wrestling. His two favorite wrestlers are Sasha Banks and Bianca Belaire. Every Monday and Friday nights he would be glued to the TV watching wrestling and could not be disturbed.
Stanley enjoyed a variety of movies ranging from scary, thrillers, superhero, action and romantic comedies.
Among Stanley’s many talents included sketching, selecting the most heartfelt, beautiful greeting cards and always remembering everyone’s birthdays.
Stanley is survived by his mother, Micheline, daughter, Christina, grandson Xavier, aunt Annette, sister Farah, cousin Steve, his daughters Deziree and Karisah, nephew Miles, his daughter Celine, cousin Gladys and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by his father Wilson and his grandmother Adrienne.
