Roland Baptiste was born at L’asile in Haiti to Emmanuel Jean Baptiste and Armande Etienne on June 18, 1940. He attended school, graduated and went on to successfully work as a foreman for many years. He married LaMercie Laguerre and after her untimely demise, married Gisele Saintus and did the best he could as husband and father. He worked hard beyond his academics to provide for family and indubitably was the Jack of all trades.
Roland Baptiste loved to buy and sell cars and did not hesitate to manifest his joy when his hard work resulted in profit. Surely he was very passionate about his hobby.
Roland Baptiste unfortunately transitioned on June 23, 2026. Even when facing death at the hospital, he was strong, sociable and defiant.
Roland Baptiste is survived by his sons David Baptiste, Rigal Baptiste, his daughters Carole Nelson, Martine Pun, Rachel Baptiste, Elizabeth Baptiste and by his sister Michele Etienne.
The family is appreciative of the love expressed towards them and would like to thank everyone for their constant support during this difficult time of grief. The family would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Frantz Daniel Jean Funeral services Inc.
