Jumoke Jepson Taylor, 35, passed away on August 25, 2022.
He grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from Lafayette High School. He worked hard to hone his skills as a personal trainer for over 15 years, becoming one of the best and eventually forming his own company, Eterne LLC. He also worked for the New York Health and Racket Club and The LIV Method, and became close with many of his coworkers and clients, considering them to be friends.
Jumoke was often quiet but had a smile that would light up the room. His passion in life was helping others. He also enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, trying new restaurants, tending to his plants, and absorbing as much knowledge as possible. He was complex and interesting and an undercover comedian. He looked forward to watching games with his friends and remained a loyal Mets and Knicks fan through the good times and the bad. He accepted people for who they were, listened when they spoke, remembered important details, and made them feel seen. His gentle spirit touched everyone he met, and he always made sure to protect and take care of those he loved most. He was driven to learn and grow, and he was looking forward to the future.
Surviving Jumoke are his mother, Claire Campbell, and the Bonnet family; his father and stepmother, Jepson Taylor and Cheryl Peters; his grandfather, Patrick Oswald Pitt; his sister, Christina, and nephew Zerelle; his aunts and uncles, Sonia, Cynthia, Zala, Timothy, Fitz, Cephas, Dunstan, and more; his cousins, Karen, Renie, Randy, Cindy, Abby, Aneisha, Mandy, and more. Jumoke will also be missed by his clients, co-workers, and friends who loved him dearly.
