Jude Jean Philippe Obituary

Jude R. Jean Philippe was born in Haiti to Laurette Epauline Point-Du-Jour and Andre Jean Philippe, and in 198,4 he came to New York, where he built a life rooted in faith, family, and love. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to those around him.

Jude devoted many years to working in the hospitality industry at the Sheraton Hotel, where he took pride in his work and treated everyone with respect. In his free time, he enjoyed reading the Bible, attending church, spending time with his family, and traveling. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and generously supported others, especially by assisting with immigration matters and offering guidance when needed. Those who knew Jude will always remember his kindness, wisdom, and the pride he took in his appearance, especially his love for wearing his finest suits.

Throughout his life, Jude showed strength, patience, and deep faith. Throughout every challenge, he remained hopeful and at peace, comforted by the love of his family. Even in his final days, his grace and dignity continued to shine.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Kerline Thezena Jean Philippe. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Rodeline Jean Philippe-Alexis, Sherly Jean Philippe, Magdala Jean Philippe, Duvia Jean Philippe-Garconvil, Kardine Jean Philippe, Judeline Jean Philippe, Rodley Jean Philippe, Ines Jean Philippe, Eponine Jean Philippe and his step-son, Kervens Rene.

He was a loving grandfather to Kaina Gordon, Ciara Louis, Nahla Louis, Tyler Louis, Hayley Bazile, Maddison Bazile, Karlia Garconvil, Kyrie Garconvil, Zarah Garconvil, Abbie Lynne Alexis, and Azalea Lynne Alexis.

He is also survived by his sons-in-law: Karly Garconvil, Julfabe Alexis, Ernst Pierre, and Daniel Louis and his siblings: Davidson Jean Philippe, Roussel Jean Philippe, Fabienne Jean Philippe, Marcus Belrice, and Marie Suze Aly. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ketly Jean Philippe and Yanick Jean Philippe.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in our hearts.

Dad, we miss you more than words can say. Not a day goes by that we don’t feel your love around us—in the lessons you taught, the laughter you gave so freely, and the quiet strength you showed just by being you. You were our protector, our guide, and our safe place.

Thank you for every sacrifice, every warm hug, every moment you put us first. You showed us what love looks like through your actions, and that gift will stay with us forever. Even though you’re no longer here in the way we wish you were, your spirit lives on in our hearts, in our choices, and in the way we love one another.

We carry you with us always. Until we meet again, rest peacefully, Dad. We love you endlessly.
