Joseph Dorsainvil

Joseph M. Dorsainvil was a conductor in Haiti and became a resident in Brooklyn, NY in 2002. He died from lung cancer on September 25, 2022, at the age of 85 years-old.

Joseph Maxene Dorsainvil was born to Theramise Louis-Jeune and  Alegard Dorsainvil on April 26, 1937. Joseph lived in St. Marc, Haiti with his sisters and brothers. Joseph completed High School at Frere Herve de St, Marc. He then worked at Ciment d'Haiti for 44 years. On August 4, 1962, he married Jacqueline Dorsainvil. They brought 4 beautiful children into this world. 3 daughters and 1 son. He migrated to Brooklyn, NY on December 26. 2002.

Joseph was a smart hard working man who also enjoyed playing soccer and loved to enjoy life. He did not let anything bother him. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. 

He is survived by his Children:
Linda Charlot, Mirlene Dorsainvil, Maxene Jr. Dorsainvil and Martine Dorsainvil

His Grandchildren:
Jefferey Levasseur, Keth Apollon, Christyna Cherubin, Max Andy Dorsainvil, Mardoché Dorsainvil and Jacques Laurent Dorsainvil

His Great Grandchildren:
Saniya Apollon
