Certrondon LeGrand

Certrondon Legrand was born September 23, 1956 in Brooklyn NY.

The son of the late Dr. Dervernon Legrand and Helen Eva Smith Legrand, and the husband of the late Linda Augustine.

Certrondon Legrand spent most of his childhood and life raised in Brooklyn NY. He was also known as "Cash" or "Fat Boy". He never finished school but grew to become what they called a "jack of all trades" but to his kids he was their "Super Hero". He grew up learning about cars and working on them. He was the mechanic around town. He was also known for fixing the bicycles of all the neighborhood children and giving them candy. He was known to them as the "Candy Man". Certrondon was the guy you could run to if you were in need. He was always there without any questions asked. You never went without when he was around. You always had at least $1 in your pocket. Later on in his life, he moved to upstate NY to better his life and to be with his wife Linda, his two kids and to be with his two sisters Laprincilla Millard, Zaquarntris Legrand and his late loving brother Nathan Legrand. Those three were his backbone and who kept him strong.

He was a father of two loving children Certrondon Legrand Jr. and Victoria Augustine and step-daughter Wendy Augustine and grandchildren Justine Rivera,Nyheim Samuels Legrand and Joshua Augustine. Certrondon was the brother of 64 Sisters and Brothers and uncle of 100+ nieces and nephews, some he treated as if they were his own grandchildren Aliana, Julia and Pasquale.

Certrondon will be remembered as always being the jokester of the family. Through the holidays, birthdays and family functions he was the main character and the center of the attention. He will be remembered for his gorgeous green hazel eyes, having the brightest smile in the room and his laugh was one of a kind.

Certrondon last days here on earth he made sure his kids knew how much he loved them, that's all he talked about to the doctors. His world revolved around his wife, kids and most importantly his family. His last few minutes he was surrounded by his daughter holding his hand, his son holding him and his sister Mimi by his side. He was surrounded with LOVE....
